I enjoyed Black Panther, directed by Ryan Coogler.
It is unique, visually stimulating, humorous and sociologically fulfilling.
Shuri, played by Letitia Wright is my favorite character. She is funny, charming and a technological innovative scientist. I loved seeing the female characters kick so much ass.
Everyone does a great job: Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Dunai Gurira, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett.
Without getting too socio political I’d like to say I especially loved how Ryan tied in the African-American struggle in America with African responsibility. That perspective alone is worth the price of admission. It is unique, unprecedented and I am grateful to see that message shared for all the world to see.
There are other moments of important dialogue that may get lost in the excitement of the film that I am also grateful for witnessing in such an important cultural film.
Brava and Bravo to all involved in the making of this film.
